The t-shirts showcased on this website are driven by a moral compass strengthened by the subtle disappointment from time spent on Alibaba speaking with manufactures. It does not take a long time exploring the app to develop a sense of unease when seeing the partnership of questionably cheap prices and an extensive variety of choice, produced far away, and yet some how rapid.

Anyways, following the firm decision against engaging in this unethical iceberg, I became resourceful. Fuelled by a vague memory of a week spent Lino printing during secondary school, I ordered some cheap (regretfully so) supplies; a pack of lino and a tool with interchangeable blades. A first attempt/ fail out of the way, I created my second lino stamp which I ended up using to print the t-shirts from the inverted collection. I source t-shirts from various charity shops and TKmaxx's, the latter being more expensive as the t-shirts themselves are unworn, yet still unwanted to have ended up in a clearance shop.
It is no surprise that our desire for new fashion runs faster than our desire or even ability to wear them considering this is a pattern seen across the globe- excess waste, objects and visceral fat due to our towering wants.
Thankfully I am not the first and will not be the last to reuse existing clothes and recycle them into something that people want to wear and feel good wearing. Creation of artistic expressions is something I wish for everyone with such, but what I want even more is for us all to create with care for that which is bigger than ourselves and our art. Creation is good, so lets make it better by utilising the materials that have been revoked of a purpose !
